    USA SHIPPING UPDATE - 😢

    FACTS SHEET. 

    * UPDATED AT 1 SEP 2025 SHIPPING HAS RESUMED 👏🏼

    • From AUG 29th 2025 the de minimus rules allowing shipments under $800 USD to enter US without fees was removed by the Trump government. ALL PACKAGES will incur country specific tariffs. 

     

    • We have now added these tariffs as a line item at the checkout so you can see.  This means we are collecting the tariff from you and pre paying so your package can enter the USA without delays. 👏🏼

     

    • 🚚 Currently all packages must ship with DHL Express as they have a system set up to clear customs for you and remit your pre paid taxes to the USA government.  This option is more expensive than traditional mail carriers but is the only one available to us currently as the Australian Postal system has ceased shipping goods to the USA while technology and systems are put in place to handle the tariff collection.  This could take weeks or months... we just don't know.😢

    MOVING FORWARD... 

    •  The temporary suspension of US sales and higher shipping costs are having a crushing effect on Pethaus (and many small businesses worldwide) USA contributes to almost 40% of our sales (yes you guys are loyal and you rock!) Matt and I are doing everything in our power to find a  work around to using DHL couriers and get you guys a better shipping price - but for now this is the only option.
    • Once we have this up and running 🤞🏼 we will do a dance🕺🏻 - pop a bottle of champagne 🍾, probably have a cry of relief 😪 and definitely let you all know.
