The best damn dog show in Melbourne just got dog denim! 

You can't really call yourself a legit 'Crazy Dog Lover' unless you've checked out the Dog Lovers Show.  Held in Melbourne each year at the Royal Exhibition Centre, this years show attracted over 30,000 totally mental dog lovers. 

We decided to give it some real Melbourne flavour by bringing our gear along for the punters to enjoy - we made a tonne of new pack members and caught up with some old ones, it was mental! 

If your thinking about attending in 2018 here's our list of what to expect.

1 - CROWDS - big crowds! If your not into cues or shuffling about through crowds get along on the first day Friday when things are a bit more chilled out. 

2 - FREE SHIT - there are heaps of giveaways on the day, usually you'll need to sign up to get your paws on a show bag but it's well worth it.  You won't need to buy dog treats for a year! There are loads of discount vouchers for cool stuff too. Plus most stands have show specials.  (Expect to cue up for free stuff) 

3 - DOGS - so many different breeds are on show plus there are rescue groups with rescue pups galore, it's a great way to find out first hand about dogs you might be interested in or connect with groups of like minded dog lovers. 

4 - SWAG - while all the big brand pet stores and pet brands are there you can also find a few emerging new brands as well like us.  There are tonnes of different food products, toys, medical supplies and accessories. 

5 - SHOW TIME - there are some very clever dogs up on stage showing off mad skills, famous television experts on stage + Insta famous pooches to meet and greet. 

HOT TIP -Measure your dog before hand, bring a note of your pooches sizing so you can snap up a bargain on the day.  Also parking is a bitch so use public transport if you can or get there early.
