📜 Terms and Conditions — Returns, Cancellations,Taxes & Duties

By placing an order on Pethaus.com.au, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Orders & Cancellations
By placing an order with Pethaus, you acknowledge and agree that orders may only be cancelled or edited within 8 hours of purchase. Personalised and custom-made items are produced to order and cannot be cancelled or edited once production has commenced, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Faulty Items
If you believe an item is faulty please contact us immediately you may be required to supply photographs. In the advent we cannot properly assess the fault from photos alone you will be required to return the item  to Pethaus for assessment before any remedy is determined. Where a fault is confirmed, an appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair or replacement. Refunds are provided only where required by law.

Taxes & Duties

  • All international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees upon arrival in the destination country.

  • These charges are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost at checkout. ( Excluding USA tariffs which are paid at the checkout) 

  • The recipient/customer is solely responsible for paying any applicable fees required by their country’s customs authorities.

  • We do not control or determine the amount of any duties or taxes, as these vary by country and are governed by local import regulations.

📮Delivery & Proof of Delivery


We are not liable for any delays in delivery caused by third-party carriers once an order has been dispatched, including delays outside the estimated delivery timeframes provided. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Where a shipment is marked as delivered by the relevant carrier, this will be taken as confirmation of delivery and proof that the order has been fulfilled. In such cases, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for items reported as not received.

✉️ Delivery Refusals & Return Costs

  • If an order is refused at delivery due to unpaid duties or taxes, or if the package is unclaimed or incorrectly addressed by you and returned to us:

    • We will contact you for re delivery or offer a store credit, only once the item is safely returned in its original condition.

    • You may also be charged for any return shipping or handling fees incurred.

✅ Customer Agreement

By completing your purchase, you confirm that:

  • You understand and accept your responsibility for any taxes or duties incurred in your country. ( Excluding USA tariffs which are paid at the checkout) 

  • You agree not to dispute charges related to customs, duties, or return fees.

  • You are aware that Pethaus is not liable for any delays caused by customs processing.
